Hi, my name's Doug.
I hold a Master's of Education in Physical Education, 3 certifications from the International Sports Sciences Association (Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, Corrective Exercise Specialist), and a license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas. I've worked with a wide range of people in various settings (pediatrics to senior citizens, athletes to business/family folk, skilled nursing and rehab to outpatient orthopedic, sports performance with collegiate athletes to kids martial arts classes, and more) and I would love to help you achieve your goals.
I am passionate about helping people get better whether it's building muscle, getting lean, improving posture, decreasing aches and pains, or learning new skills. I like to think that one of my greatest strengths is finding creative ways to help people accomplish tasks and achieve goals as well as providing the right kind of motivation to succeed.
In my opinion, fitness is personal to everyone - an athlete may look to get the performance edge on the field of play, a grandparent may want the ability to keep up with or even out move their grandchildren, a business professional may be very limited in time, but still value their health and well-being and need to get the most out of their workouts, and the list goes on. Whatever your fitness goals are I know that they are important to you and that means they are important to me.
Thank you for taking the time to check me out and I look forward to working with you!
